TEACH Outdoors Scholarship Winner

Brandon is a high school senior at Midland High School. He plans to go to either Iowa State University or Bradley University. He plans on majoring in one of the following: mechanical, agriculture or environmental engineering. Brandon wowed TEACH Outdoors with his wide variety of school involvement and his essay about the Illinois River. His favorite activities are fishing and hiking with his family. In five years, Brandon hopes to be a commissioned officer in the Air Force. He wants to change the world by leading the community to preserve the great outdoors. Mallory Sobkowich

Jacob “The Warrior King” Bouxsein Memorial Scholarship Winner

Mallory is a high school senior at Seneca High School. She plans to go to Central College in Iowa for Pre-Medicine. Mallory wowed TEACH outdoors with her many awards, leadership, and school involvement. She loves to hike and spend time with her family. In five years, Mallory sees herself either in med school or working as a physician’s assistant. Either career helps her to fulfill her goal of helping others. Congratulations to Mallory for winning the Jacob “The Warrior King” Bouxsein Memorial Scholarship!
